Itinerary
Your adventure begins the moment you arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK). A warm welcome awaits as our driver transfers you to the comfortable Crest Safari Lodge (or similar) in Arusha. Here you'll enjoy a relaxing dinner and get settled in, ready to embark on your safari.
After a hearty breakfast, your safari officially begins. A short stop in Arusha allows for last-minute purchases before heading to the magnificent Tarangire National Park. Famous for its massive elephant populations and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire is a sight to behold. You'll enjoy a picnic lunch within the park and have excellent chances to spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, and a myriad of other wildlife species. Your day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay at Fanaka Lodge (or similar) in Mto wa Mbu.
Today, you'll journey into the heart of wild Africa – the legendary Serengeti National Park. The drive takes you through the scenic farmlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before descending into the boundless plains of the Serengeti. Known for its incredible wildlife, particularly during the annual migration, the central Seronera area is where you’ll spend the afternoon on a game drive. You'll have the chance to spot lions, zebras, antelopes, buffalos, and potentially even the elusive black rhino. Dinner and overnight await at the Tanzania Bush Camp (or similar), nestled in the heart of the Serengeti.
Rise early for another unforgettable game drive in the Serengeti. This is your chance to catch the sunrise and see the park come to life, with lions, giraffes, cheetahs, and more actively hunting and grazing in the morning hours. Later, move to the Ngorongoro area for overnight stay at the beautiful Ngorongoro Safari Lodge or Similar.
Today, you’ll experience the incredible Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most densely populated animal areas on Earth. After an early breakfast, we descend into the crater for a full-day game drive. This is a place where you have a great chance to spot the endangered Black Rhino, hippos, lions, hyenas, and countless other creatures in their natural habitat. Your day concludes back at Fanaka Lodge (or similar) in Mto wa Mbu.
Enjoy your last day in Tanzania with a visit to the stunning Lake Manyara National Park. A shallow, alkaline lake at the foot of the Rift Valley escarpment, this park is a haven for bird watchers and has the unique attraction of tree-climbing lions. You can also see hippos at close range and enjoy the beautiful lakeside scenery. After an inspiring day in this beautiful park you will head back to Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable safari.
